A love letter, from your table.
Centro is a metaphor for the table in our lives. Or vice versa. The table is where we gather, fall in love, learn from our friends, share experiences and generally live out our lives and lifestyles. It is the depot or central area in the home where almost every activity intersects. It’s the center of our home culture.
But perhaps this hard working piece of our culture has lost its luster with us and we now take it for granted. Too many years of homework, cold veggies, real estate deals and tax returns has brought ‘er down.
Furthermore the dramatic change in living spaces got rid of the elegant dining table and relegated the activity of dining to the eat in, or the living area. Further softening our previously passionate relationship with the table.
Heck, we want to see a return to the former joy and glory of the table. We wish to re-invigorate Friday’s dinner party whether it’s for you and a loved one, the whole family or with friends. We’d like to re-ignite the creative spirit of putting something special on, (table speaking), and doing it up — having fun, feeling great and celebrating life like you own it.
So, throughout the winter, we will be exploring and focusing on the table as a hub of our design concentration.
Excited? So are we. So keep an eye out for our upcoming table style features. A series of table settings and style themes that you can do yourself; tonight or this weekend, easily and enjoyably to put the spark back into that space in our lives.
