If there’s been a common theme while renovating and building this store, it’s been the texture, layers and elements that we encounter, unearth and trip over.
From old signs in the mud, receipts discovered within the 100 year old walls or the mature vines growing through the foundation — we are steeped in time and acutely aware of the fact that we’re just the next occupant of this building — one of many. Each successive tenant has left a mark or texture and perhaps their is an homage to this historical equity that will make the store feel natural, like a home from the moment we open.
